Plant of the week




I bought this Clematis the year my Mother had her first stroke as it is called Marjorie which was her name and now it climbs all over my apple tree.




Clematis Montana Marjorie 

Every bit as lovely as its name sake who I miss terribly.

    That is a super plant, we too have one climbing over an old cherry tree. Memories may make us a little sad, but we wouldn't be without them. I lost my mum 35 years ago and I still miss her.
    On a lighter note, I love your new banner and background..beautiful.

    What a nice thing to do. We have it too and its lovely this time of year - I keep trying to control it by cutting it back, but it just fights back stronger!
