Reply to comments.

I  love to read the comments that people leave to my small literary masterpieces (well a girl can dream) and would love to reply to them but the only way I know to do this is by going through each profile and sending an e-mail. I have done this on numerous occasions but it takes so long and I spend so long on the internet as it is. Does anyone know of an easier way?

    Go into settings, click on the comments button, scroll down to 'comment notification' then add your email adress.
    Your comments will come through to your email aswell as blog and you can reply to people that way.

    I tried too but it is so hard, I comment on lots of blogs but never have the time to reply to comments left unless they are a specific question where I do reply and I don't mind that people don't reply individually to mine.

    I think that blogging is fine to be kept to blogs and not answered individually (as I said, unless specific question needs a reply).

    I use typepad as my blogging platform and it's easy to reply as each comment is emailed to me with the commentators email address.
    Typepad is about £5.00 a month

    I do as B, above, says. Changes your comment notification to your e-mail and then you can reply directly from there. The only downside is some people don't have their e-mail address linked to their blogger account so you can't reply at all! My problem is that I don't have time to reply every single comment! :) x

    Its a pain isn't it, I am having the same problem.
    I am leaving a comment on the blog with my blog name as well and picking anonymous.I dont know if it will always be like this, I never had a problem until recently !?

    An interesting question - and one I've pondered on. I tend to do as Annie does - and reply to direct questions via direct email and reply to general questions on my next blog post.

    It is lovely that you try to reply to each comment,as a regular comment leaver here and there I don't expect an answer i know everyone is time pressesd and I rarely have time but if i am asked a question I make sure I get back,don't stress we love your blog.

    In reply to your comment on my blog - I got a 'baby fairy' too, but not for me, for a present for my daughter, so shhh! I just couldn't resist them!
