We went from the North of Norfolk over to the West today to have lunch with the in-laws .
We went to Hunstanton for a coffee before lunch and found there was a festival of some sort going on.
Sunny Hunny has got lovely gardens
and an usual lifeboat which my son was very impressed with.
Then on the pier gardens there were dozens of VW vans lined up which impressed Mr T.
Then on the prom were BMX stunt bikes
and a climbing wall.
Apparently Hunstanton is ideal for kite surfing and windsurfing.
and they were out in vast numbers.
Then further along you could just make out the fairground.
I love these cliffs They remind me of coconut ice.
And the rock pools are great when the tides out.
But it was a very short stop
Then it was past the lavender fields for a Sunday lunch in the village pub before the rain came.

ReplyDeleteWhy no picture of you tackling the climbing wall? Haven't been to Hunny for a few years - I guess it doesn't change though!
ReplyDeleteOften go to Hunstanton , usually on a Sunday to meet up with other bikers. It's a great meeting place, ice cream if it's warm and cinnamon doughnuts and drinking chocolate if it's cold. I love your photo's. it certainly looks like you had fun.
