I'm trying something out. I found a tutorial on Pinterest that shows you how to
add files to download to your blog so I thought I would give it a go.
A while ago I was going through my Mums box of old photos
and in amongst them I found the cards she was sent when I was born,
So I thought I would put one on here for you to see how lovely it is
and for you to download if you want.
Now if I've done this right you should be able to click here and
the link will go to the file ready for you to download.
It worked when I tried it but please let me know if you try it.
And finally,
The Torch has been through Norfolk.
This is the first young runner in Aylsham, which is where we saw it,
and I found the whole experience,in Mr T's words,
very uplifting and very enjoyable.
Can't wait to go to the Olympics now.
Have a great weekend and don't get to wet.

ReplyDeleteHi Gill, yes your download works. The torch is this way next week; I'm hoping to go and see it too. Best wishes, Pj x
ReplyDeleteDownload works! Tell me ... now that you are a computer whizz ... does one have to be on Facebook to get Pinterest, cos I can't seem to sign up to it any other way. Am I being especially dim, even for me?? xCathy
ReplyDeleteIt works!!
ReplyDeleteCan you share how you managed to accomplish it? I'd love to share downloads!

Yes, worked for me too! Wow!
ReplyDeleteThe Torch was run through Kings Lynn on Wednesday, and our Kiwi visitors saw it in Oakham....or near-abouts at the weekend. My friend is actuallu torch bearing through St IVo in Cams on Sunday I think. Go Nell!
Cathy if you click on anyone's pinterest there is usually a thingy at the top to click and request an invite. Don't think it has anything to do with facebook....
Yep, works for me too - such a beautiful design, it would look great in cross stitch. The torch isn't coming through where we live, although it did go through Basildon and Southend. A lovely idea, very motivating ... :0)
ReplyDeleteThat is so lovely and really great that you found it. I've kept all the 'birth-day' cards that I received too, the most special one being that with my Dad's writing in it. Keeps him close to me somehow. Have a great weekend, Gill.x
