Scavenger Hunt for May

It's that time of the month again and I here are my
photos for Mays' scavenger hunt.

The changing of the guard at Windsor castle last summer
It is such an great spectacle I was sure nobody would mind
that it is a few months ago.

This reminded me of the nursery rhyme
" Two little dickie birds"

I love this view over the bright stripes of Norwich Market to
the Norman castle.

The tourist street map of Norwich

Sadly this is my summer house which we are repairing

This is the construction site down the road from us.

East Runton Gardens four pillars.

This door is very small and is in the side of our Church.
Shame about the graffiti.

I struggled with this one and eventually settled on

The Norfolk flag

This is my key cupboard

I prefer the outside view.

Some vintage fabric that had just been washed
 ( I kept forgetting to
take the photo on a nice day)

Well that my offering and I can't wait for next months as
we are going on holiday so have lots to look for while we are away.

I will speak to you before we go away so have a great
weekend and thanks for dropping by.

And the Winner is…..

Morning All.

Hope you've all had a good week, I know I have.
Mr T has been away on a course this week so
I have had time to myself which just
occasionally I really enjoy.
Does that sound bad?
But I'm sure you know what I mean,
eat when and what I want, watch what I want and
not have to worry too much about housework as I don't make
much mess and little one isn't here that often.
She will be here even less after the weekend as
she is moving into her own flat---again.

Aren't these colours lovely.

I was taken out for a Birthday Afternoon Tea by one of my friends
to East Ruston Old Vicarage Gardens.

I love this place and it has acres of gardens to wander around.

And something different around every corner.

I'm hoping to capture the changes through the summer
but we will see.

I love the way they store their fire wood.

I definitely want one of these in my garden.

The orangery at the back of the house has a different
colour scheme every year.

I have a real thing about succulents--
I love them so I need to find a place
for a display like this.

Sorry I've got carried away haven't I, what you all want to know
is who has won the giveaway
Well  I got the Mr to pull a name out
of the hat and it's

so if you can let me know your details please
I will post your parcel out to you.
Including your pin cushion and from vintage
linen and lace.

Thank you to those who took part and all
Birthday wishes hope you all have a great weekend.

Spring Giveaway Win

My garden has come alive over the last week
with flowers and plants coming out everywhere.

Even Mr T has got his legs out while we give the summer house
a bit of a face lift

and I made it a door hanger to brighten it up inside as well.

I also received my fab brooch which is my Giveaway win
from Dog Daisychains and goes perfectly with
my new jacket.

So don't forget my own giveaway ends on the 10th.

See you then.

Birthday Flowers and Giveaways.

Today is my Birthday ,
I won't tell you how old,
but Mr T and I have also celebrated 31 years of marriage this week
so that should give you some idea,
although of course I was a child bride (Lol).

So my house is full of beautiful flowers from my children

and we have had a lovely lunch at Holkham Hall
with our some great friends where Mr T was
drooling over this beauty.

The big Norfolk skies were a brilliant blue
and I should have put sun cream on.

Our friend Martin Wall is a fantastic artist and
I have shown some of his work before
in Februarys scavenger hunt
but this is his latest gorilla.
Wiggo a go go is currently at Holkham Hall for a large cycling event
over the weekend and as he is Mr. T's  hero he just had
to have his photo taken with him.

These Gorillas are for a trail around Norwich during the summer
called Gorilla a go go which I'm really looking forward to and
which Martin has painted 3 gorillas for.
After the trail finishes they are all auctioned off for charity,
I only wish I could afford one.

I got an e-mail this morning to say I had
one of the fantastic  brooches in the
Giveaway over at Dog Daisychains.
What a great day I'm having sooooo

to include you all in my celebrations, to
say thank you for being such great people
and helping me through what has been a difficult
start to the year for me and my family
I'm having my own giveaway.

The prize is a set of pins from
 Just Another Button Company,
a pin cushion made by me to put them in
and one of their needle threaders.
There are no hoops to jump through, just be a follower and leave a comment below.
 Although please make sure
you  either have a blog or leave an e-mail address so I can get in touch with you
if you win.

Entry will be open until the 10th May
Good Luck.

I'm off for a glass of bubbly before my dinner
so see you soon.
