Scavenger Hunt July

It's the end of another month which of course means it's Scavenger Hunt
organised by Greenthumb @ Made with Love.
Most of my photos this month where taken whilst on holiday
in Yorkshire and Northmberland.

C is for ....
Cafe in the Valley Gardens Harrogate.
They serve a very nice cup of coffee.

Dough

Well near enough I think.

9pm

This was taken from our front garden a couple of nights ago.

In your bag.

This was the contents of my bag for my patchwork
group yesterday.

Together

This is the button shop in Harrogate
I don't think I have seen so many buttons together in one place.
I did buy some and then lost them during the day somewhere.
Typical.

Lever

One of the gates on Hadrians wall.

Liquid

Theres a lot of liquid between the mainland
and this island. Not sure which island it is.

My view of the day

The finishing straight for the first day of Le Tour.

On the wall

Translated it means, according to Google translator,
 "Citadel of the famous fountains"

Pool
In the Studley water gardens.

Stem
The stem of a very old Wisteria.

The man trying to get out of the shot is my brother.

Sweet
My macaroon at Betty's tea rooms.
A visit to Yorkshire isn't complete without going to
Betty's tea rooms apparently.
It tasted fantastic.

So thats my contribution for this month.

Time to look up next months list.

Enjoy the rest of your week.

so this was found in an old book shop and solved
the problem as well as being a funny picture.
Would have been good for spoon as well.

Steam
This is one of the small steam engines
on the Bure Valley railway.

Water
Saw this fabulous old water butt in the graveyard
of one of the lovely old churches
around here.
Must do a post on some of them one day we have so many.

You Again

Here he is again, Little Mack trying to hide in
the long grass.

Spoon

Lastly my set of chinese spoons.

You will notice that there is only 11 that is because this is
a soccer free house at the moment and Soccer was the final word.
Thats my excuse and I'm sticking to it.

Mr T and I are off to see the Tour de France  Grand depart in Yorkshire
and have a holiday in the area for a few days so
expect lots of photos. We booked this months and months ago so
lets hope the weather is dry.

It's that time of the month again when I join in
with Green Thumb at Made with Love and the rest of the gang for
our photographic Scavenger Hunt.
If you want to have a look at the other entries then pop along
Here for the links.

I was set
an additional challenge with this months
hunt as my wonderful husband suggested I try to take all
the photos from in and around our house and gardens.
It means that some of the photos aren't as nice as I would
have hoped but I have managed it.
So here is this months chosen selection

1. Berries
The mixed berries that are part of my breakfast most mornings.

2. Crisp
A cold and Crisp morning with a slight frost,
few and far between this winter.

3.M is for---

as he decided it was time to play with his ball but I eventually
made it.

4.Brick

5. Flowers
My spring flowers in a pot by the back door

8. Coloured Door

9. Tickets
Our theatre tickets for next weekend.
I keep an envelope stuck to the inside of our diary
so keep any tickets in so they don't get lost.

10. Working

the road at our neighbours having a new roof .
The builder is sitting on the top.

11. Lit up

12. 9am
Last but not least my watch actually taken
at 10 am this morning when I realised I
had forgotten to put it forward on Sunday morning
when the clocks changed to British Summer Time.

So that is it for this month time to go shopping
and start looking for next months.
